Verbal Communication is the use of both the spoken and written word.
Nonverbal communication is the exchange of information without using words. It could be transmitted by touch, facial expression, posture, gait, gestures, sounds, voice tone, silence, and general physical appearance.Therapeutic Communication is the goal-directed and client-centered. The nurse needs to respond not only to the content of the client's communication,but also to the underlying feelings.
