I have heard sad stories from people including me in pursuing a slim figure. They haven't try to read this piece yet.
Slimming down is such a hard task. With alluring chocolates, ice cream and other delectable fattening foods confronting and tempting us at every turn, having a model's figure seem impossible. What I don't even realize is that moving extra body fat need not to be agony. I can shed off those excess pounds by tweaking my lifestyle a bit. So forget about crash diets and check out these tips.
Diet without trying..
1. Eat Slowly. It takes 20 minutes for our body to recognize that we are already full. Chew carefully so you will feel sated even before you've finished your plate. This slow pace also allows us some breathing room to decide is you really want a second serving.
2. Use smaller plates. This way your plate will look overflowing despite the small serving you feel less deprived.
3. Substitute. If you can't say no to certain foods, just reach for less fattening ones. almost everything in the grocery should also come in sugar-free, fat-free, low-salt and high-fiber.
4. Eat at home. Minimize the number of times that you dine out. with restaurant food, you have no control over portion sizes.
5. Know your weakness. Identify your binging triggers, then plan how to cope with them. If passing a bakery tempts you to buy a chocolate muffin or two, take a different route when you go home.
Workout without trying...
1. Save gas- burn fat instead. If you commute, walk from the station to your destination instead of taking a cab. If you drive, park at least half kilometer away from the office building and walk the rest of the way.
2. Lift yourself. If you're working in a low-rise building, take the stairs instead of the elevator. It will burn excess fats, improve your cardiovascular system.
3. Don't workout. the usual gym routines can get boring. To stay motivated, choose an exercise you can enjoy and integrate into your lifestyle. It may be biking, dancing, jogging or even just a plain household chores.
